ARCH currently supports the NGO Child Health in Brazil (Saúde Criança). Child Health works with families that face the double challenge of social vulnerability and a child´s illness. Child Health aims to restructure and promote the self-sustainability of families with children in social risk, that are referred by public health organizations. It was set up in Rio de Janeiro in 1991 by Dr. Vera Cordeiro and is now considered the top social organization in Latin America and 38th in the world by the Swiss-based Global Journal in 2012.
